Columbus REALTORS® has adjusted its operating hours to increase the time our dedicated staff can spend with their families while continuing to serve the membership.

On Friday, Dec. 22, the Columbus REALTORS® office at 2700 Airport Dr. will be closed, but staff will be working remotely and able to respond to calls and emails from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The office will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, for Christmas and re-open on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the adjusted time of 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Dec. 27-28 will be normal business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.), but Friday, Dec. 29, the office will be closed with staff working remotely and able to respond to calls and emails from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 1, and re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the adjusted time of 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

A friendly reminder that it is also dues collection season, and the deadline is Wednesday, Jan. 10. Dues can be paid online through your member portal. We no longer accept cash or personal checks. Please contact a member of our support team if you are having difficulty paying your dues through the member portal.

Dues payments are past due – late fees will be assessed Wednesday Feb. 9
REMINDER: Annual Membership dues were due on Jan. 3. If you have not yet logged into your member portal to pay your 2022 dues, your MLS and Key Box Services will be suspended, and a $25 late fee will be added to your account as of WEDNESDAY Feb. 9.

Here are the steps for paying online:

1. visit www.columbusrealtors.com
2. click the blue “member portal” button towards the top middle of the screen
3. log in to the portal using your license number (for password help, email tking@columbusrealtors.com)
4. click pay now under the account balance section on the right-hand side of the screen

Due to the continued snow storm and snow emergencies, Columbus REALTORS® staff will work remotely Friday, Feb 4. Membership Headquarters will reopen on Monday, Feb. 7 at 8:30a.m.

Columbus Realtors will be closing early today (11/24/21) at 3pm EST. As a reminder, the office will be closed 11/25 and 11/26 for Thanksgiving. We will answer all voicemails and emails left during the holiday as soon as possible upon returning to the office on Monday, 11/29/21.

A female agent reported that she had received a very disgusting call from a man who said his name was Jessie James and he was looking to purchase a property in Albany, Ohio. She asked did he mean New Albany and he said yeah, but he clearly didn’t sound familiar with our area. He also said he got her number from Realtor.com and claimed to be preapproved for $250,000. During the conversation, she heard him start to pleasure himself and she hung up the phone. He called back saying he forgot to give her his email address, which he had not. Jessiejames1969@yahoo.com was the address he gave her on the initial call, and jessiejames1989@yahoo.com is the address he gave the second time he called. He called back a third time saying he was not finished. He called from (917) 634-7393. The agent asked to alert colleagues to beware if this man contacts them.

The Columbus REALTORS® annual Director Election is now open and will be available through Nov. 9 (11:59a). There are 8 members vying for the four 3-year terms that begin Jan. 1, 2022.

Unlike previous years, members eligible to vote do not need a ‘personalized’ email. All you have to do is login to the Member Portal and you’ll see the ‘Vote now’ button in the Notifications.

Logging into the Portal – Your login is your license number, and your password is probably “cbr” (or “CBR”) unless you’ve changed it. You can also use the “Forgot Password” to reset your password provided you use the email address on file with Columbus REALTORS®.
