Flexmls and Member Portal Maintenance – March 28 – 9pm

There will be scheduled maintenance that will impact your access to the Member Portal and FlexMLS beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, and continuing until 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 29

During this scheduled maintenance, all tools and services involving the member portal will be unavailable.

If the scheduled maintenance lasts longer than expected, we will provide updates on social media and through email.

Realist Downtime: System Maintenance – Saturday, September 27, 11:30pm to 10am

Cotality will be conducting maintenance on systems that affect Realist® this weekend on Saturday, September 27, 2025 between 11:30 pm – 10:00 am Sunday, September 28, 2025. The Realist application and autopop public record integration will be unavailable for the majority of this maintenance window.

RESOLVED – Flexmls Issue: Document Upload Errors – August 11

FBS reports that the issue has been resolved as of 4:23pm. Public and Private document uploads in Flexmls should now be functioning normally.

Issues have been reported with the document upload functions in MLS.  The error generated is typically “Invalid document confidentiality setting of (undefined)”. This seems to affect primarily the upload of Private documents to listings, but may also affect Public documents.

FBS is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it. We will update this post when the issue has been resolved.

Resolved: Property Description: Field Inconsistencies During Expansion

Our MLS vendor, FBS, reports that the conversion and data move for the Property Description field should now be complete. If you experience issues with display of the new 2,000 character Property Description field, please contact MLS Technical Support.

Original story:

Part of the recent changes to FlexMLS included the expansion of the Property Description field to allow 2,000 characters. We are noticing some inconsistencies with the new field:

  1. Duplicated property description fields in some locations.
  2. Text that is modified, then reverts back to the original.
  3. The Property Description field is not appearing at all on external websites.

FlexMLS Search Results Out of Sync

As of the morning of March 27 we are noticing search functionality issues impacting FlexMLS. We are aware that the desktop version search results when compared to the mobile version search results are out of sync. 

Our vendor, FBS has escalated the issue within its support team. We will provide an update when FlexMLS is functioning properly.

Resolved: ShowingTime Scheduling Issues with Coming Soon Listings

ShowingTime reports that this has now been resolved…continuing to monitor. Future showings can again be scheduled ON or AFTER the Active on MLS date.

Previous announcement:

We are aware of an issue with ShowingTime that affects the scheduling of showings on “Coming Soon” listings after they become “active” listings. We have been in touch with ShowingTime and are working with their support team to resolve this problem. We will continue to provide updates to our Columbus & Central Ohio Regional MLS subscribers through the MLS message board, the member portal, and Columbus REALTORS® social media channels.

Preparing for RESO Field Updates on March 25

On the morning of March 25 our vendor, FBS, will be making updates in the MLS between 6-9 a.m. EDT as we become RESO (Real Estate Standards Organization) 2.0 compliant.

During this time, add/edit features could be unstable. We recommend refraining from utilizing the add/edit features in the MLS between 6-9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25 to avoid any instability from the updates. Below is the anticipated timeline of updates occurring on March 25.

  • 6am: New RESO Compliant fields will be added. Do not attempt to access Add/Edit.
  • 7am: Data will begin to be transferred to new fields.
  • 9am: Full functionality should be restored.

Please note these updates could take longer than anticipated, and existing data will continue to transfer for the remainder of the day. This could result in system slowdowns or other anomalies. Tech Support will communicate progress via the MLS Message Board on Tuesday, March 25.

Realist Downtime: System Maintenance – Saturday, December 7, 8pm to 7am

CoreLogic will be conducting maintenance on systems that affect Realist® and public record data this weekend on Saturday, December 7, 2024 between 8:00 pm – 7:00 am Sunday, December 8,2024. The Realist application and autopop public record integration will be unavailable for the majority of this maintenance window.  A Realist maintenance splash page will display while Realist is unavailable.

FlōPlan Users: FlōPlan No Longer Available After December 2024

If you are a FloPlan System customer, FBS is discontinuing the FloPlan service at the end of 2024. 

Only FBS’ FloPlan customers who utilized FloPlan to create floor plans, not all Flexmls users are, are affected.

Please note the following timeline and adjust for your own listing workflow:

December 11th: Last day to perform and submit a new property for processing.
December 18th: Last day to request fixes on existing floor plans.
December 31st: Pending requests will no longer be processed or updated. 
January 30th: The final day to download and save your floor plans.
January 31st: The app will be closed, no further access.

If you created existing floor plans with the FloPlan app and are ready to download your floor plans to keep, click on the link below for a handy guide OR simply login to the floplan.io website, and download each floor plan you would like to keep.

RESOLVED: Flexmls Connectivity Issue Identified

Our MLS vendor has provided the below information regarding current issues in the MLS

7/30/24 12:47pm: We’re investigating connectivity issues with Flexmls. This is resulting in pages not displaying for some users.

7/30/24 2:37pm: It appears that the issues are either resolved or significantly improved. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

7/30/24 4:15pm: This incident has been resolved.
