Using ‘Realtor” in your MLS portal name If you wish to use the term ‘Realtor’ in your MLS portal name, which becomes a URL, there are some very specific rules governing proper use of the term ‘Realtor’. In a nutshell, you may use the term in conjunction with your name (i.e. smithrealtors or johnsmithrealtor), but you may not use it with descriptive words or phrases (i.e. dublinrealtor or numberonerealtor). Feb. 3 – Final Day for Access to Tempo/Fusion Tempo and Fusion (and Kurio) will all cease to exist on Monday, February 3, 2014. Columbus REALTORS® will have only Flexmls at that time. There will be no future access to Tempo/Fusion after Monday, Feb. 3. All MLS users should be familiarizing themselves with Flexmls and finish re-creating their Saved Searches and Backing Up Contacts from Tempo/Fusion this weekend. WEBSITE (FlexMLS):

Users SHOULD NOT MAKE CHANGES to Contacts in Tempo/Fusion after 4am. All Contacts and Saved Search changes should be made only in Flex at this point.

All conversion classes are still expected to start at the scheduled time. Cold weather alone will not be grounds for cancellation of classes at Columbus REALTORS® headquarters. Please review the official cancellation policy below. Offsite class attendees may want to contact the site directly the morning of the class to ensure the building will be open.

Contacts were transferred into Flex from Tempo/Fusion on November 20, 2013. There have been a LOT of changes since then. There will be one more update to contacts prior to February 3, 2014. If there is a problem with your contacts at that time…you better have a backup. It is very easy to backup your contacts. The entire process takes about 3 minutes. Please backup your contacts. You should always have a backup, regardless of the situation. At a time like this, you NEED a good backup. If everything goes well, you wasted 3 minutes. If anything goes wrong, you have a backup.

1) Go to Contacts > Contact Manager at the top
2) Click Tools > Export at the top right
3) Make sure “ALL RECORDS” is selected
4) Choose Data Export Format “Tab Delimited”
5) Select Export Grid Format “BACKUP ALL CONTACT FIELDS”
6) Check “Include column headers”
7) Click OK
8) When prompted to save the file, not the name and location (probably the DOWNLOADS folder)
9) Find the downloaded file on your computer. Rename the file and you’re done. You’ve backed up your contacts

The Columbus REALTORS® offices will be closed on Monday, January 20th in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr Day.
MLS staff will be on call for system problems. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, January 21st.

All MLS users should now login to Flex and begin re-creating their Saved Searches from Tempo/Fusion.
CAUTION: Flex is NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL. There are many things that are still being built. This access is specifically to login and begin manually entering your Saved Search criteria. Also verify that your contacts have transferred. You will need to manually add any missing contact information from Tempo/Fusion to Flexmls. Unfortunately, CoreLogic (our current vendor) was not able to make these particular things happen automatically. All normal business (add/edit functions and daily search activity) should still be conducted in Tempo or Fusion until February 3rd (go live date for Flexmls).
This early access is solely for entering Saved Searches and verify the accuracy of your contacts. Please do not report that parts of the website are not working. The Flex system is STILL UNDER CONTSTRUCTION. MLS staff will notify you next week when the full MLS database is loaded and ready. Please spend this time re-entering your Saved Searches. Please verify that your contacts transferred completely.

You can also view the full timeline for MLS conversion on the MLS welcome screen in Tempo, Fusion, and Flex.
REMINDER: All normal business (especially add/edit functions and daily search activity) should still be conducted in Tempo or Fusion. This early access to Flex is for manual Saved Search criteria transfer and Contact verification only.
