Accessibility Features Worksheet Must Now Be Attached – Beginning July 1 Beginning July 1, 2017, the Accessibility Features worksheet will be required AND MUST BE ATTACHED to the listing when Yes is selected in the Accessible Features Y/N field. This requirement is for any property with Accessibility Features. Previously, completion of the worksheet was required but the worksheet was not required to be uploaded with the listing. Wording on the Add/edit screen help text will be updated to reflect that the form must now be uploaded to the listing in the MLS as an attached document. New Flex Feature: Lookup Contacts when Sending Manual Email – May 15 As of May 15, 2017, you are able to search for contacts when sending manual emails. This makes sending manual emails easier by eliminating the need to scroll through long lists in order to find specific contacts. The lookup bar appears on the manual email screen. Use the lookup to find contacts or click the Add New Contact button to create a new contact. If you click in the contact search box without typing, a list of all of your contacts will appear and you can scroll through to find and select specific contacts. Start typing a contact’s name or email address into the search bar to search for a specific contact. Click the contact to select them as a recipient. If a contact has multiple email addresses, each address will appear separately. If you are working on behalf of a contact who has more than one email address and you manually email listings to them, all of their email addresses will be selected by default. If you would like to remove a recipient, click the X next to the email address you’d like to remove.

New Flex Feature: Search Contact List When Saving a Search – June 1 On June 1, 2017, you will be able to search for existing contacts when saving a search. This will make selecting a contact easier by eliminating the need to scroll through a long list in order to find specific contacts. The lookup bar will appear when you save a search and select the option for Existing Contacts. Use the lookup to find contacts. If you click in the contact search bar without typing, a list of all of your contacts will appear and you can scroll through to find and select specific contacts. Start typing a contact’s name into the search bar to search for a specific contact. Click the contact to select them as a recipient. If you would like to remove a recipient, click the X next to the email address you’d like to remove. If a contact has multiple email addresses, only the contact’s primary email address will appear in the search results. This is because the search is being saved to the Contact’s record in Flexmls not to a specific email address. If you choose to Save and Add Subscription, the subscription will be sent to all email addresses that are set to receive notifications for the selected contact.

Columbus and Knox County REALTORS® Form Key Box and MLS Reciprocity The Knox County Board of REALTORS® and Columbus REALTORS® formed an agreement to make electronic key box and MLS services available to each other’s subscribers under a reciprocity agreement advantageous to the members of both associations. What the agreement means:
Important note: Because both key system databases must be transferred to the same computer system, key reciprocity will not be in effect until after May 23rd. After that date a Knox County Display key will open a Columbus key box, and a Columbus Display key will require only a simple program update performed by the Columbus REALTORS® Key Box Administrator. To access a Knox County key box with an e-Key requires use of a FOB available through the Columbus REALTORS® Member Service Center. Contact Membership Coordinator Brandi Mrugacz (614) 475-4000 for information about subscribing to the Columbus REALTORS® key system or MLS. Contact EO Jeri Scott at or (740) 392-8490 or Martha Edelblute at (740) 398-8089 for information about subscribing to the Knox County Board of REALTORS® key system or MLS.
