RESOLVED: Property Icons Not Displaying on Map Search

RESOLVED:  As of 2pm, the map icons should be appearing as normal.

=====================================

FBS is investigating a network issue that is causing map icons to fail to appear on map search in MLS. This does not appear to affect other Flexmls functions.

Tech Support will post an update here as soon as this issue is resolved.

(Originally posted 1/29/18 at 11am EDT)

MLS participant brokers can now include their listings in a MLS feed to Zillow by using a checkbox setting to “Enable Feed” on the new Broker Distribution (Syndication) Preference page.

The settings and menus in MLS will be labeled “Syndication” until January 31.  These labels will be changed to
“Broker Distribution” by February 1. Brokers may never see the soon-to-be-changed “Syndication” labels unless they visit the “Broker Distribution” (Syndication) Preferences page prior to February 1st.

Crime Alert: Bogus Lieutenant targeting members with Jury Duty Scam

Bogus Lieutenant targeting members with Jury Duty Scam

Chris Harrington with HER, Realtors® reported that she had received a phone call from someone claiming to be Lt. Mark Reid, Badge #206, with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, telling her that there was a warrant out for her arrest because she had missed Jury Duty. She told him that she had not receive any thing from the court and he couldn’t verify the address that the summons was sent to. He said the only way to clear it up was for her to bring $600 (cash only) to the Sheriff’s office on S. High Street for the bond, and that she had to ask for him only. He would then walk her to a kiosk where she could get her money back. The sheriff’s office confirmed her suspicion that this was a scam. Another REALTOR® received the same call and someone else reported that this was the 3rd time that week they had heard of this kind of call. Not sure what the scam is, but Chis thinks the guy is targeting REALTORS® from signs and/or ads to maybe rob them when they show up at the Sheriff’s office. Her attorney thought it could possibly be human trafficking since the guy wants to walk them to a kiosk. Chris has reported this scam to the Attorney General’s office.
