MLS Taxes: Time to Update “Tax (Yrly)” and “Tax Year” It’s that time of year again to update your listings with the latest property tax information for the 2018 tax year. Many county auditors have updated their tax records already, or will finish their process in the next few weeks, for each parcel in their taxing districts for the 2018 tax year. Voter approved school and bond levies impact those figures each year along with auditor reassessments or owner appeals of property valuation. Most real estate taxes change annually. It is important that REALTORS®, clients and even sellers be kept apprised of these ever changing figures. While Realist can auto-pop the Yearly Taxes and Tax Year for you when you first enter the listing, it cannot automatically update them when those figures change. This routine remains an important manual operation for REALTORS® to complete at the beginning of each year. For listings that are not in a CANCELLED or CLOSED status, these fields can be edited along with other listing fields by editing the listing values through LISTING INFORMATION. This action can be taken by the broker/office admin or by the listing/co-listing agent.

Coming January 23: Guided Help for Flexmls – Your 24/7 Virtual Trainer Right on the MLS Screen On January 23rd, Flexmls will release the new Guided Help Resource Center. This new in-line training resource will allow all users to increase their knowledge, at their own pace, and on their own schedule. It is like a 24/7 virtual trainer built right into the Flexmls system. Anytime you need help or tips you can access the Guided Help without even leaving the MLS in your web browser. Guided Help Search Bar Access the new Guided Help by clicking on the Guided Help link at the top of the Flexmls window next to Quick Launch. Type a phrase or topic you’d like to search: specific Flexmls features, guided help tutorials, feature specific help pages, and more. Multiple resources appear on the screen as soon as you start typing.

Supra eKey system update and icon/layout change The Supra eKey system is currently undergoing an automatic update that will change the icon and layout of the application on your phone. There is no change to its operation or functionality and serves as a purely cosmetic alteration. In a few select instances, certain members may find that their phones require new authorization codes. This is rare and easily fixed by contacting Samuel Brody-Boyd, Columbus COLUMBUS REALTORS® Keybox Administrator at (614) 475-4000 ext. 282.
