Tips for Realtors regarding the CFPB changes

Update: TRID changes

From what we’re hearing:

  • Don’t write purchase contracts to close in 30 days – unless your buyers have discussed this in advance with their lender.
  • Your ‘state license number’ is one you received from the Ohio Division of Real Estate – not your Office ID number.

Columbus REALTORS® Online Dues Payment System – July 31, 2015 – 3:00pm

Please be aware that at 3:00pm on Friday, July 31st, 2015, the online due payment system that was found on http://www.columbusrealtors.com will be shut down during the association’s membership system conversion. The expected date that the new online due payment system will be available for members is August 10th, 2015. Details from the association will follow.

This does not affect access/usage of the Flexmls, Realist or Data Co-Op systems. Access to the associations webpage at http://www.columbusrealtors.com will also not be affected.

As always, if a change is needed to membership records or to make payments, you can reach the membership/accounting department with Columbus REALTORS ® Monday – Friday 8:30a – 5:00p by telephone at 614-475-4000 or by stopping in to the headquarters location at 2700 Airport Dr, Columbus Ohio, 43219.
