Crime Alert: Seller Told Check Didn’t Go Through An elderly seller received a phone call about a week after closing saying that the check from the sale did not go through and they needed an account number to clear the check. Unfortunately he gave them the account number for the trust. At this point we don’t know if any money is missing. Please warn your clients not to provide financial information without verification.

Crime Alert: Bexley Break-In An area agent reported that his listing located on Chelsea Avenue in Bexley was broken in to last night and copper plumbing cut out and taken. The thieves went in through the back door. Nearby neighbors who also has a for sale sign in their yard thought they heard someone at their backdoor last night, as well. The agent made a police report and it’s thought the thieves maybe targeting homes they think are vacant and that have for sale signs in the yard.
