Safety Alert: Man impersonating a buyer? 1/20/22 Teon Arrington called Drew Gelatt (Coldwell Banker Realty) last week asking about buying a $500,000 or million-dollar home. He claimed to be a surgeon and his wife a doctor. At first, he said their kids were grown, but later said they were in a hurry to buy as they had twins on the way. After an uncomfortable number of inconsistencies, Drew researched him online and found that Teon Arrington, 23, was sentenced to 1.5 years behind bars in Spring of 2017, after pleading guilty to five counts of impersonating a peace officer, one count of theft, and five charges of telecommunications harassment. The police indicated to Drew that they didn’t suspect that Teon was dangerous. Please be cautious if you are contacted.
