Released 12/21/16: Flexmls Web: Relabeled Quick Launch Bar Per FBS Announcement : On December 21, the Quick Launch bar will be relabeled in Flexmls Web to make its functionality more intuitive. Instead of displaying text that says Quick Launch when not in use, the Quick Launch bar will display text that says Enter Address, City, ZIP, MLS#, or Menu Item. Please Note: The Quick Launch functionality will not change. The updated text indicates just some of the different items that the Quick Launch can search. Clicking on the Quick Launch bar allows you to access your Recent and Draft searches and by typing at least two characters into the bar, you can access the following:

RESOLVED – Updated 12/9/16 – Flexmls email delivery issues — att.net and sbcglobal.net Update 12/9 8:19 AM: Our vendor FBS states “After monitoring email delivery for the last day, we believe this issue to be completely resolved. Thanks for your patience, and our apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused” Update 12/8 10:12 AM: Our vendor FBS states “AT&T has processed our block removal request, and they began accepting our emails at around 6pm Central on Dec 7th. We’re currently monitoring the situation to make sure that they continue to be delivered as expected, and will resolve this issue once we are comfortable that all of the issues have completely cleared up.” Update 12/7 3:30pm: We’ve determined that there are some other domains under the AT&T’s control that are also affected. The complete list of affected domains is as follows: At this time, we’re still waiting on a response from AT&T regarding this issue, so don’t have an ETA on a resolution. We’ll update this incident when we receive more information.
Previous Updates: Following the Dec 2nd issues that delayed the sending of Flexmls email notifications, AT&T’s email systems detected the change in our mail sending pattern/schedule, and automatically blocked all emails that are coming from our servers. This affects the majority of emails that are being sent to recipients with addresses on the att.net and sbcglobal.net domains. A recommended solution would be to check if your client has a secondary email address other than att.net or sbcglobal.net. The vendor of Flexmls, FBS, detected this issue and reached out to AT&T on the morning of Dec 5th, and are awaiting a response from their postmaster team.

RESOLVED -Updated 12/07/16 – Realist PDF’s Unavailable Update at 9:37AM 12/07/16: Realist states “The technical teams completed the work on the load balancer overnight. Testing and monitoring indicates Realist print, save and email functionality has been fully restored and the performance issues have been resolved. We will continue to monitor and will alert you if anything changes. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked toward resolution. We sincerely regret this inconvenience this has caused to you and your members.” Update at 5:07PM 12/06/16: The technical teams have restored Realist PDF generation function, however there remains an issue with the load-balancer which is resulting in slower than usual rendering of the PDF reports and errors in some cases. The technical teams will address the load balancer concerns tonight after peak hours to resolve the lingering performance issues. Update at 1:52PM 12/06/16: Realist states “We thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work to restore Realist print/save/email functionality. The technical teams have identified the issue and are making great strides toward a resolution. We anticipate PDF generation to be restored in the near future, however we do not yet have an exact timeframe for restoration. We will update you as soon as we have more information to share. We sincerely regret this inconvenience this causes you and your members.” Update at 9:12AM 12/06/16: Realist states “The technical teams have been working through the night and consulting with Adobe specialists, but have not yet reached a resolution. Realist is still experiencing an issue with PDF’s while saving, printing or emailing reports. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work toward resolution. New Member Lookup Interface on Add/Change Note, these changes will mostly affect Brokers/Office Administrators when entering listings. Those closing listings will see the same interface. Today, our vendor enabled a new member lookup interface for entering/closing listings. To work with the new interface: Click on the lookup box with your mouse or pointer. On the line that appears, you can start to type out the name or license number of the member you would like to add. Once they are displayed, you can select the name to have it fill in the line. As seen above, the new member lookup interface will show on the Add Listing screen. Additionally, the new member lookup box will appear when selecting members on the Edit Listing/Selling Members screen, on Status Change screens, and when Transferring listings.

RESOLVED – Updated 12/05/16 : Flexmls Email Delivery Delayed 12/05/16 – Update: As stated by FBS, the email capacity was restored by 5PM Friday evening. Throughout the weekend, they were monitoring the system and did not see any failure. The vendor will be continuing to monitor the situation, but all items have been caught up. At approximately 11:40pm (Central) on Thursday, December 1st Flexmls has experienced slowdowns with the storage system used to provide the My Sent Emails feature. Those slowdowns were impacting other services so we took the collection offline. This caused some issues with prospecting overnight and those were addressed this morning. Emails sent in the overnight hours are delayed but have been going out. They are expected to be caught up around 5pm today. Flexmls is also working to restore data for My Sent Emails in a way that doesn’t reintroduce performance issues. In the meantime, you’ll likely notice less data than you are used to when accessing this feature. This post will be updated with any updates as they are received.

Vendor Update – Flexmls System: Enhanced Star Rating System in the Portal This article documents a change the MLS vendor, FBS, has put in place for all MLS’s that utilize their Flexmls system. This change went live late 11/30/2016. Flexmls Classic Portal Flexmls iOS Client App and Mobile Web Portal Viewing Star Ratings as an Agent: Flexmls Web Regardless of whether you use the new Portal or classic Portal, you will see the classic Portal layout when you view a contact’s Portal from Flexmls Web. When viewing a contact’s Saved collection, you can see how many stars they’ve given each listing or add and remove stars at your contact’s request. Viewing Star Ratings as an Agent: Flexmls Pro and Mobile Web If you would like to change the star rating on behalf of your client, tap the stars next to a listing, then select the number of stars the listing should have.
