RESOLVED: Photo Uploader Issue 2/2/17 – We are seeing that the Photo Upload functionality looks to be restored. Original Post: Starting at around 11:45am today, we were made aware of some issues with the photo upload ability within the Flexmls system. When attempting to use the photo uploader, it’s very likely that you’ll either receive an error message on the photo uploading process, or, if you are able to load a photo, you’ll get items that display like below: At this time, if you are seeing the errors messages or blank photos as seen above, there is nothing you are doing incorrectly. This issue is affecting all users of the MLS system. At this time, one option would be to try to use the Original Photo Upload tool available in the upper right. This post was added recently as our MLS vendor, FBS, has confirmed the issue and is currently working towards a fix. At this time, they did not provide us with an ETA as to when the issues would be resolved. When we find out more, we will update this post.

RESOLVED: MLS Email Delivery Delays – Tuesday, January 31 Vendor update 6:00PM: At about 3:15p Central Time, we were notified that the upstream issue had been resolved, and that the email queues were draining to a normal level. We’ve been monitoring the situation since then, and it appears that emails for all of the top domains are back in line with their typical delivery speeds. At this point, we’re confident this issue resolved, and will update back here if anything changes. Vendor update: 3:07PM: Our mail delivery provider is currently working to resolve this issue. From our perspective, it appears as if the majority of emails are flowing again, without delay, however some recipient domains (notably gmail.com) still appear to have a fairly high delivery delay. Please be aware that delivery of some email from the MLS is being delayed. The headline for this story will be updated when this issue is resolved. MLS TIP: 48 Hours to Submit Listing to MLS We frequently receive calls to the MLS inquiring whether an Office Exclusive Waiver form is on file for a particular property where signage is placed. Frequently there is no form on file and a warning or fine must be assessed to the agent named on the sign. MLS policy mandates that a listing must be submitted to MLS within 48 hours from the date the listing agreement is signed or an Office Exclusive Waiver form must be on file. If the 48-hour limit falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the listing or form must be submitted on the next business day. Actual MLS Policy: Warning, $100, $200, $500 Listings required in MLS but not to be displayed initially in MLS at the request of the seller shall be submitted to MLS within 48 hours from the date signed except weekends and federal holidays whereby the data is to be entered the following business day or the Office Exclusive Waiver Form found on CR’s web site at http://www.columbusrealtors.com shall be on file with the MLS.

Released 12/21/16: Flexmls Web: Relabeled Quick Launch Bar Per FBS Announcement : On December 21, the Quick Launch bar will be relabeled in Flexmls Web to make its functionality more intuitive. Instead of displaying text that says Quick Launch when not in use, the Quick Launch bar will display text that says Enter Address, City, ZIP, MLS#, or Menu Item. Please Note: The Quick Launch functionality will not change. The updated text indicates just some of the different items that the Quick Launch can search. Clicking on the Quick Launch bar allows you to access your Recent and Draft searches and by typing at least two characters into the bar, you can access the following:

RESOLVED – Updated 12/9/16 – Flexmls email delivery issues — att.net and sbcglobal.net Update 12/9 8:19 AM: Our vendor FBS states “After monitoring email delivery for the last day, we believe this issue to be completely resolved. Thanks for your patience, and our apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused” Update 12/8 10:12 AM: Our vendor FBS states “AT&T has processed our block removal request, and they began accepting our emails at around 6pm Central on Dec 7th. We’re currently monitoring the situation to make sure that they continue to be delivered as expected, and will resolve this issue once we are comfortable that all of the issues have completely cleared up.” Update 12/7 3:30pm: We’ve determined that there are some other domains under the AT&T’s control that are also affected. The complete list of affected domains is as follows: At this time, we’re still waiting on a response from AT&T regarding this issue, so don’t have an ETA on a resolution. We’ll update this incident when we receive more information.
Previous Updates: Following the Dec 2nd issues that delayed the sending of Flexmls email notifications, AT&T’s email systems detected the change in our mail sending pattern/schedule, and automatically blocked all emails that are coming from our servers. This affects the majority of emails that are being sent to recipients with addresses on the att.net and sbcglobal.net domains. A recommended solution would be to check if your client has a secondary email address other than att.net or sbcglobal.net. The vendor of Flexmls, FBS, detected this issue and reached out to AT&T on the morning of Dec 5th, and are awaiting a response from their postmaster team.
